More Dog Safety Protocols

As a guardian of any pet you have a responsibility to safety measures, at all times. 

🐾. A leash clip added to your gate latches will slow down someone from just opening it up, and will block a creative dog from learning to flip the latch open

🐾. A simple hook and eye latch at the top of a bedroom door will prevent a visitor for opening a door they shouldn’t 

🐾. Crate your dog when weekend and holiday visitors are staying in your home , when visitors come over, etc and leash him for potty breaks if he must go out while they are there (or muzzle). Do not trust that others will not leave a door or gate open

🐾. Even consider boarding your dog for the holidays when you have house guests or parties if you can’t keep attention on Fido. 

🐾. Add a secondary barrier for door bolters. 

🐾 Training, Training, and some more Training with a side of training.... and practice for life. You want muscle memory to kick in when it matters. Your muscle memory and the dogs. Hire a pro to get your started.
